Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world.

Sri Dalada Maligawa

The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic or Sri Dalada Maligawa, is a Buddhist temple in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha.

Tour Schedule

Start From - Galle/Hikkaduwa/Mirissa.

Your Personal Driver will pick you from the Hotel or Location. If you can manage to start the Tour in Early in the morning, Your time will save much for explore the locations. We will always use Expressway to reach the locations to save your time.

Travel to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

We advise you to Start Trip early in the morning for better views and many animals. Your Driver will help you to get tickets with past experience. 08.30 am – Opens for the visitors,09.00 am – 09.45 am Fruit feeding,09.15 am – 09.45 am Milk feeding,10.00 am – 12.00 pm Herd to the river.

Visit to Daladamaligawa in Kandy.

After Visiting Elephant Orphanage We are going to Kandy and also see all location surrounding the Kandy.

Heading back to Galle

At the end of Visiting Kandy, you will end the tour with full of memories . Your driver will take you back to your pickup location or any other location within the route from Kandy to Galle.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage os an orphanage,nursery and captive breading ground for wild Asian Elephants.At the movement there are about 95 Elephants in the orphanage.Visit the tempol of the Tooth Relic.The tempol is the Tooth Relic is the World Heritage Site that house sacred Tooth relic of Buddha.
